Merihistoria.fi is a collaborative digital archive for maritime and ship history for everyone interested in these themes. It was founded in 2006 by the Ship Historical Society of Finland, the Finnish Maritime Archeological Society, and the Finnish Association for Maritime History. The site has been supported by grants from the Finnish Ministry for Education and Culture, the Finnish Cultural Foundation, and The Swedish Cultural Foundation in Finland.
